Usage
Squidlimbs.com reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
By purchasing a product of Squidlimbs you agree that all HTML coding created by Squidlimbs remain property of Squidlimbs.
Graphics/files/templates designed by Squidlimbs are only to be used for the exact purpose that they were intended for (in part or whole). The graphics delivered to the purchaser may not be edited or modified in any way by the purchaser or a third party. This includes using template graphics to create business cards, flyers, or other print materials. This also includes using parts of or entire templates designed by Squidlimbs to make templates for other websites such as Ebay or Etsy.
When purchasing a logo design, you the right to use the logo for anything relating to your business as long as it remains in its original design.
Squidlimbs will not purchase any stock images for use in any product. If you wish to have a particular stock image included in a design, you must purchase it yourself and provide proof of ownership.
The Squidlimbs copyright notice at the bottom of any website template created by Squidlimbs must not be removed at any time while the template is in use or disabled.
Squidlimbs reserves the right to use any product or service created/provided by us as part of our portfolio.
Refunds
Refunds will not be issued due to a customer’s change of mind prior to or after a product has been delivered. Refunds will only be issued if deemed necessary by Squidlimbs.
All deposits are nonrefundable.
Payment
If you have paid a deposit to book a place during a certain month, the full payment will be due by the 1st of the month booked.
We only accept payments up front, before work begins for each separate service.
We accept all payments via Paypal.
Packages – Includes/Changes:
Each website design purchased will include 1 mock up design and 5 revisions. If more than 5 revisions are needed to reach the final design, any hourly charge will be added to your bill. Please contact us to find out what our current rate is.
Please let us know what functions/features you want your website to have (including the e-commerce portion) prior to purchasing. If something is not possible, we will let you know right away. Requesting changes/additions once work as begun will be at your own risk.
We aim to keep our prices as low as possible which is why we keep our packages basic. Shopping cart customizations do not come with the package (things such as changing the layout of the product pages). If you need any special customizations we will be happy to provide a quote. Please view our portfolio to see how the shopping cart looks and functions, if you need something that you don’t see in our examples, please ask first.
Any requests to make changes to the final mock up design after it has been confirmed by the customer will incur a fee.
Requests made after the completion of a website are considered to be separate services and may incur a fee.
Unless purchased separately, packages do not include the addition of content such as products, text or images on pages. However, all website packages include a front page design.
Contact forms, SEO and plugin installations are all considered separate services and must be purchased separately.
Third Party Plugins/Systems
A “website design” by Squidlimbs refers to the installation and set up of WordPress, the installation and set up of the plugin WP E-Commerce and the design, coding and installation of a custom WordPress template.
WordPress and WP E-Commerce are considered third party systems. The latest and most stable available versions of these systems will be installed on your server. Functions of these such systems are not the responsibility of Squidlimbs nor are we responsible for the functions of any plugins that are installed on your website with your consent.
As Squidlimbs is not part of or directly affiliated with the developers of these systems, we cannot guarantee the functionality of WordPress or WP E-Commerce upon or after installation. Squidlimbs is not obliged to fix, modify, add or remove any errors or functions related to third party systems of or on your website at any time.
Turn around time
It is vital that we have all the information that we need from you sent to us along with your payment in order to begin the design process.
This could include:
- Images/content for the front page/layout of your website
- Answers to the design questionnaire you will be sent (if required)
- Your current logo (if required)
- Any other information that you would like used for the design of your website. (This does not include images/content for sections of your website which you will be responsible for)
- Hosting information, please have your login details for your hosting account ready. If you don’t have hosting, we will help you purchase an affordable plan
Our schedule is carefully planned out to allow a sufficient amount of time for each project to be completed, if this important information is not ready in time, your project time line may be affected or you may lose your place in the project cue. All necessary resources must be emailed to us by the 3rd of the month that the project is booked for. If it is not in on time, we reserve the right to postpone work indefinitely.
Completion
A website is considered completed when the template has been coded, all of the template images have been inserted, navigation has been set up, and the shopping cart has been set up. Adding content to pages and listing products is up to the customer and does not postpone completion time. Selecting the payment gateway, country, state, shipping options etc in the shopping cart settings is up to the customer but we are happy to help.
Squidlimbs Hosting
By choosing a Squidlimbs Hosting plan you agree to follow the terms and conditions of Bluehost. Squidlimbs reserves the right to terminate any websites breaching these terms at any time without prior notice.
We DO NOT offer SSL certificates with any of our hosting plans. If you require an SSL certificate, please let us know and we will help you purchase hosting with a company that offers this service.
Squidlimbs is not responsible for any downtime your site may experience due to server issues.
We do not offer refunds for hosting under any circumstance.
